Patrick Buckley
Patrick Buckley, member, practices law specializing in intellectual property and patent prosecution. He was previously counsel at Walker Digital Corporation. Earlier, he was an associate at the law firm of Kenyon & Kenyon where he focused primarily on drafting patent applications for clients in the telecommunications field, including applications directed to wireless networks, fiber optics, voice recognition, broadband, and Internet services. Prior to joining Kenyon, Mr. Buckley was an associate in the intellectual property group of Dickstein, Shapiro & Morin. Before entering the practice of law, he was a systems engineer at Grumman Corporation where his duties included integrating computer displays and global positioning systems and software for the F-14D fighter aircraft. Mr. Buckley received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1986 and his J.D., cum laude, from St. John's University Law School in 1995. His professional memberships include the American Bar Association where he was Chair of the Internet Patent Quality Subcommittee. He is admitted to the bar in New York and the District of Columbia (not admitted in Connecticut) and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
